Account Settings
It’s simple to get yourself setup with a password login.
Sign into your account either in the dashboard, or through our app.
You’ll then be prompted to set a password by us. You can also change the email address that we have on file for you at anytime, if you’d like.
If you run into any trouble, reach out and we’ll help get it taken care of.
It’s really simple.
Just connect to your Karma Go and a popup will appear asking you to create your account. Simple enter your email address and a password of your choice (make it strong).
If the popup doesn’t appear for some reason, head over to your browser and enter: http://hotspot.yourkarma.com into the address bar. You should then get the prompt to create your account from there.
There’s also plenty of good info to help you out on our start page.
There are two ways that you can pay for Karma Go, meaning two ways you can be charged.
If you have a Pulse account, you are charged each month for the option you choose. ($40, $75 or $140)
And, we also have an Auto Refill feature for Refuel. This lets you select a specific amount of data that automatically gets added to your account, should you run low.
Once you get a payment method saved to your account, you can set up Auto Refill in your dashboard.
You can simply reach out to us to close your account, no questions asked. Not to say we won’t be sad to see you go though.
Please note (these are the important words): If you cancel your account, you can’t reopen it or recover any information stored in it. Data leftover in your account will also be deleted and can’t be transferred to another Karma customer.
If you’d like, give us some feedback on how we can improve for the future, or what we could have done better.
Not a problem, it happens to the best of us. You can request a new password here, by filling in your account email address.
After that, check your inbox for an email from us that shows you how to reset your password. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check your spam folder.
If you still don’t see it, reach out and we’ll help get it taken care of.
There’s a few reasons this might happen, but it’s an easy fix, so don’t panic.
- You might not have activated your Karma Go just yet, and therefore it’s not attached to your account on our end. This doesn’t mean you haven’t purchased one yet, just that it’s not activated into your account. Go ahead and activate it and see if this helps.
- When you do activate your Karma Go, remember to use the same email address that you used to purchased with. Once you do this, your Karma Go should appear in that account.
- It’s possible you activated your Karma Go successfully (hooray), but just not with the same email address that you used to purchase with. So you could have two different accounts wandering around. Reach out and we’ll quickly fix this for you.
It’s really simple.
Just connect to your Karma Go and a popup will appear asking you to log in with the username and password you created at purchase. If you don’t have a Karma account yet, don’t freak out, we’ll prompt you to create one.
If the popup doesn’t appear for some reason, head over to your browser and enter: http://hotspot.yourkarma.com into the address bar. You should then get the prompt to log in from there.
There’s also plenty of good info to help you out on our start page.
You sure can. While we give you a few options to choose from, we still keep the Karma name present.
The more often people see the name Karma, the easier it will be for them to recognize us as a trusted source of internet. In turn, more people will use your Karma Go, and more free data will be added to your account. Win for everyone.
The default will always be Karma Wi-Fi, but here are the ones you can choose from:
- Free Karma by (Your Name)
- (Your Name’s) Karma
- Free Wi-Fi by Karma
These can easily be changed from your dashboard at any time. With the launch of our new Premium Features, you can now customize your SSID to whatever you like.
You can use up to 8 devices with Karma Go simultaneously with Karma, no matter which option you choose.
There’s also no limit on how many devices you can connect to your Karma account overall, over time.
Two reasons:
- We want to help everyone out equally, and in the best way we can. With phone support, we can’t do that without having to rush through people’s issues. With email, we can help everyone quickly and without being overwhelmed. Support can then be done by the people here at Karma who live and breathe the product everyday,
- Helping you online is more personalized, since your email address is linked to your account. We don’t have to ask you for any customer ID or order number, and we can relate to any past interactions you’ve had with us quickly. We can then see what’s happening with your service overall, and maybe even get in touch with you before you even have to contact us.
To sign out of your current data session/account and log in with a different one, go to http://hotspot.yourkarma.com.
In the upper right hand corner you’ll see ‘Sign Out’ in white. Click that and you should be able to log out.
Karma works using individual accounts and Karma will remember the devices that log in to it.
We can create a second Karma account for you, or you can take a device that has never connected to the Karma network and use that to create a new account.
